1st Virtual Review Meeting on Status of Establishment of CDCs/FDC With Nodal Officers/Coordinators of CDCs/FDC
The 1st Virtual Review Meeting on Status of Establishment of CDCs &FDC With Nodal Officers/Coordinators of CDCs/FDC under National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP) was held on 22-06-2020 under the chairmanship of Dr S K Soam, Joint Director, CPI, NAHEP component 2A, ICAR- NAARM.
Dr. Alok Kumar, Principal Scientist Co-PI welcomed all members and briefed about the outcomes from the three national workshops on Career Development Centre, which were organized at KAU-Thrissur, SKNAU-Jobner, IGKV-Raipur in the month of February, 2020. Dr D Thammi Raju, Principal Scientist & Co-PI briefly explained about the genesis, objectives and outcomes of NAHEP Comp 2A and also discussed the focused areas of guidelines of Career Development Centre and Faculty Development Centre. After that the Chairman invited university officials to present the status of establishment of CDCs & FDC and their action plan.

Mukharjee, Director HRD, SKNAU, Jobner; Dr Arup Sarkar, Professor and ICAR Nodal officer, UBKV; Dr Kapa Sarjan Rao, Dean of Student Affairs & Comptroller (FAC), SVVU, Tirupati are attended this meeting virtually. Coordinator and Nodal officer of Faculty Development Center Dr Shivendra Kashyap, Dean, College of Agriculture, GBPUAT & Dr. S.K. Guru, Professor, GBPUAT, Pantnagar are attended this virtual meeting. Total 28(04-Female) participants from ICAR-NAARM and other SAUs are attended this virtual meeting. The review meeting ended with vote of thanks to all the participants proposed by Dr. N. Srinivasa Rao, Principal Scientist & Co-PI, NAHEP.
